I have played guitar for a number of years and a little bit of keyboard too. I was completely self taught but was playing the same stuff and was feeling a bit stuck in a rut. I decided to get some piano/songwriting lessons and saw Ed’s ad online. Ed has been amazing, he has helped me learn how to compose songs and has given me the knowledge to express emotion through songwriting through a multitude of techniques. He has also really helped me improve my piano playing skills. I always thought of music theory as boring but I don't even realise that I am doing it with Ed because it is so practical and applies directly to what I am trying to achieve. Because Ed is a multi-instrumentalist he has helped me see how the theory and techniques I have learnt on piano can also be applied to my guitar playing. At the moment I am composing a song which we are going to record and produce together, which I am very excited about! Ed is very flexible, tailoring the lessons to what you want to do, but also offers guidance to help you get to where you want to be. Ed is an amazing teacher and can't recommend him higher!
